Attention all Leaders, Senior Youth, and Parents! Members of the Manitoba Council Service Team are going on tour with a series of Town Halls. We want to hear all about: · Your Scouting success stories · Road blocks that your Section, Group, or Area is encountering · And; creative solutions that you may have for commonly occurring road blocks One road block that many groups will readily admit to having is a shortage of qualified and engaged volunteers as Section Leaders and Group Committee members. To address this need, your Council Field Executive will be offering a seminar on “How to Effectively Recruit Volunteers”. Who are these Town Halls for? All Scouts Canada volunteers, Venturer and Rover aged youth, parents of youth in the organization, and anyone else who has an interest in seeing a healthy and thriving Scouting movement in their community! If you are a volunteer with years of service to Scouting, we need your experience and wisdom. If you are new to Scouting, we need your fresh set of eyes to help us find creative solutions. Sharing knowledge and experience makes our whole organization stronger so please keep an eye out for a Town Hall happening near you. Tour Dates: · March 15th Winnipeg – 17 Wing · March 24th Brandon · March 25th Winnipeg Stay tuned for times and venues!
